Project Description
A 1,000 MW combined-cycle gas turbine (CCGT) power plant in Papalanto, Ogun State, designed to address Nigeria's chronic power deficit. The project comprises three gas turbines and one steam turbine, utilizing natural gas from the Escravos-Lagos Pipeline System. The facility includes a switchyard connecting to the national grid and a gas processing infrastructure. The project supports Nigeria's Economic Recovery and Growth Plan and aims to power over 5 million households. Power purchase agreements are structured under the NBET framework.
