Project Description
A new greenfield international airport in Isiolo County, serving as a gateway to Northern Kenya tourism circuits including Samburu, Buffalo Springs, and Shaba National Reserves. The airport features a 3,500-meter runway, a 45,000 m² terminal handling 2.5 million passengers annually, cargo facilities, and a free trade zone. The project is part of the LAPSSET Corridor Program and aims to open up Northern Kenya for tourism, trade, and investment. Land acquisition is complete with environmental approvals secured.
