Ematsheni Rock Quarry & Concrete Batch Plant Project

Zimbabwe• Southern AfricaManufacturing & Industry

Project Description

A vertically integrated rock quarry and concrete batching facility located at Heany Junction, Bulawayo Province, Zimbabwe, leveraging 284 hectares (701 acres) of granite-rich claims. The project supplies 500 tonnes/hour of aggregate and 80m³/hour of premium ready-mix concrete to Zimbabwe's booming infrastructure market, with a projected output of 200,000+ tonnes of aggregate per year. The operation includes a hybrid solar PV + Battery and Hydrogen energy system with provision for excess power export. Anchored by confirmed purchase commitments including a 5-year LOI from Asphalt Products and backed by a City of Bulawayo RFP (with US Commercial Services Advocacy Center support). The project is a trilateral alliance between BGBN (global strategy), WeGAP (US equipment procurement — 83% US-manufactured), and VECM (local execution). Vince Hagan (Texas) is the concrete batch plant manufacturer. The City of Bulawayo estimates $700 million in road investment over 10 years, providing strong demand. Registered with ZIDA. Capital sought: $175,017,912.50 (debt financing for equipment procurement, operational setup, and working capital).
