Masuwe International Medical Center Project
Project Description
Construction of a 150-bed international Medical Center in the Masuwe Special Economic Zone (SEZ), Victoria Falls, Matabeleland North. This greenfield project aims to establish a modern, fully equipped healthcare facility. The International Medical Centre will be on two adjacent compounds: Compound 1 (6 ha) - General hospital, and Compound 2 (4 ha) - Luxury Medical Facility. Structured as a Public-Private Partnership (PPP), the facility will serve over 60,000 patients annually and create over 200 direct skilled and unskilled jobs, significantly reducing outbound medical travel to India, South Africa, and China. IRR: 20.8%, Payback: 6.3 years, NPV: US$2.86M. Victoria Falls receives over 394,000 tourists annually and currently has no Class A medical facility.
