8NDP: Improved Rule of Law, Human Rights and Constitutionalism

Project Description

Development Outcome 2 under Strategic Area 4 (Good Governance Environment) of the 8NDP. This outcome aims to improve the rule of law, human rights, and constitutionalism in Zambia. Key strategies include strengthening the justice system and judicial independence, improving access to justice, promoting human rights education and awareness, strengthening constitutional governance, enhancing law enforcement and security sector governance, promoting peace and conflict resolution, and strengthening democratic institutions and processes. The goal is to ensure that all Zambians enjoy equal protection under the law, their fundamental rights are respected, and constitutional governance is upheld.
