8NDP: Improved Policy and Governance Environment

Project Description

Development Outcome 1 under Strategic Area 4 (Good Governance Environment) of the 8NDP. This outcome focuses on improving the policy and governance environment in Zambia. Key strategies include strengthening public policy formulation and implementation processes, enhancing public sector performance and service delivery, promoting decentralization and local governance, strengthening public financial management, combating corruption, improving transparency and accountability, enhancing e-governance and digital service delivery, and strengthening oversight institutions. The goal is to create an efficient, transparent, and accountable governance system that supports socio-economic development and restores public trust in institutions.
