8NDP: A Competitive Private Sector

Project Description

Development Outcome 3 under Strategic Area 1 (Economic Transformation and Job Creation) of the 8NDP. This outcome aims to create a competitive private sector by improving the business environment, reducing regulatory barriers, enhancing access to markets and finance, and promoting public-private partnerships. Key strategies include streamlining business registration and licensing, improving trade facilitation, strengthening competition policy, supporting export promotion, developing industrial infrastructure, and fostering innovation and technology adoption. The goal is to position Zambia as an attractive investment destination and enable private sector-led economic growth and job creation.
