8NDP: Enhanced Citizenry Participation in the Economy

Project Description

Development Outcome 2 under Strategic Area 1 (Economic Transformation and Job Creation) of the 8NDP. This outcome focuses on enhancing citizenry participation in the economy through empowerment programs, skills development, access to finance, and support for SMEs and cooperatives. Key strategies include promoting citizen economic empowerment, improving access to financial services for underserved populations, supporting entrepreneurship and enterprise development, enhancing vocational and technical skills, and ensuring inclusive economic participation across all provinces and demographic groups. The goal is to ensure that Zambians, particularly women, youth, and persons with disabilities, are active participants in and beneficiaries of economic growth.
