Project Description
East African Medical Vitals is a healthcare manufacturing project aimed at establishing local production of medical supplies, equipment, and pharmaceuticals in Uganda. The project seeks to address Uganda's heavy reliance on imported medical products by establishing domestic manufacturing capacity for essential medical devices, consumables, and health products. The facility will serve both the Ugandan market and the broader East African region, leveraging trade agreements (EAC, COMESA, AfCFTA) for regional distribution. The project aligns with Uganda's goal of strengthening healthcare infrastructure, improving access to affordable medical supplies, and creating skilled employment in the pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing sector.
