Iron and Steel Manufacturing Factory

Project Description

An iron and steel manufacturing factory project aimed at establishing local production capacity for iron and steel products in Uganda. With Uganda's rapidly growing construction sector, infrastructure development, and emerging oil and gas industry, domestic demand for steel products is increasing significantly. This project seeks to establish an iron and steel manufacturing facility to produce construction steel, industrial steel products, and related materials. The factory will reduce Uganda's reliance on imported steel products, create industrial employment, and support the growth of the construction and manufacturing sectors. The project aligns with Uganda's industrialization agenda and leverages access to regional markets through EAC, COMESA, and AfCFTA.
