Sheet Glass Manufacturing Factory

Project Description

A sheet glass manufacturing factory project aimed at establishing local production capacity for sheet glass in Uganda. Uganda currently imports a significant portion of its glass products to meet demand from the construction, automotive, and packaging industries. This project seeks to establish a manufacturing facility to produce sheet glass domestically, reducing import reliance, creating industrial employment, and supporting the growth of downstream industries. The project leverages Uganda's raw material deposits and strategic location to serve both domestic and regional markets (EAC, COMESA, AfCFTA). Aligned with Uganda's industrialization agenda under the National Development Plan III.
