Project Description

The Moroto Integrated Cement, Lime and Marble Manufacturing Factory project aims to establish an integrated cement, lime, and marble manufacturing facility in the Moroto district of northeastern Uganda. The Karamoja region is rich in mineral deposits including limestone, marble, and other raw materials essential for cement and construction materials production. The project seeks to exploit these resources to produce cement, lime, and marble products for the domestic and regional construction markets. The factory will create industrial employment in the Karamoja region, support infrastructure development, and reduce Uganda's reliance on imported construction materials. Aligned with Uganda's industrialization and mining development agenda.
