Project Description
The Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC) Infrastructure Development Project aims to upgrade and expand the infrastructure of UWEC, a leading conservation education institution in Entebbe. The project involves constructing new animal enclosures, visitor facilities, educational centers, and supporting infrastructure to enhance the centre's capacity for wildlife conservation education, research, and tourism. UWEC plays a critical role in wildlife rescue, rehabilitation, and conservation awareness in Uganda. The project seeks to improve the visitor experience, increase tourism revenue, and strengthen Uganda's position as a premier eco-tourism destination.
