Project Description

A sugar processing factory project in the Busoga region aimed at expanding Uganda's sugar production capacity. The Busoga region is one of Uganda's key sugar-producing areas with favorable climate and soil conditions for sugarcane cultivation. The project seeks to establish a new sugar processing facility to meet growing domestic and regional demand for sugar, create employment in the agricultural and industrial sectors, and support Uganda's agro-industrialization agenda. Aligned with the National Development Plan III. Unique selling points: strategic location, investor-friendly policies, access to regional markets (EAC, COMESA, AfCFTA).
