The Digital Senegal 2025 Strategy (also referred to as the 'New Technological Deal') is a comprehensive roadmap to expand fiber optic connectivity, foster the startup ecosystem, and digitize public services. Senegal is a leader in West Africa for ICT penetration and digital services (12th in Africa on the ICT Development Index, ITU 2024; 8th in Africa on the Global Innovation Index, WIPO 2024). The strategy aims for inclusive digital transformation and enhanced connectivity, accelerating the digital transformation of the economy as a key strategic objective under Senegal 2050.
