Project Description

Construction program for 10,000 social housing units for the Armed Forces of Guinea-Bissau, under the Ministry of National Defence. Developed by GÉNÉRALE DE BÂTIMENT DES TRAVAUX PUBLICS ET DE COMMERCE GUINÉE BISSAU (GENEBATCO GB), led by Director General Mr. Victor Sébatien NGOM. The project comprises F3, F4, and F5 villa typologies located in Bissau and surrounding areas, with a total cost of 226,347,000,000 FCFA over a 5-year duration. The project addresses Guinea-Bissau's acute housing shortage driven by rapid urbanization and demographic pressure, while supporting large-scale job creation, improved living conditions, hygiene, safety, sanitation, and renewable energy use.
