Guinea 15 MWc Solar Power Plants and 55,000 Prepaid Meters Project

Project Description

Contract for the supply and installation of 15 MWc solar power plants (at a rate of 5 MWc per prefecture) and 55,000 prepaid meters in the prefectures of Téliméélé, Gaoual, and Koundara, Republic of Guinea. The project is a partnership between the Republic of Guinea, Electricité de Guinée SA (EDG SA), and Ginza SARL, with a total financing cost of $25,000,000 USD ($10M for meters, $15M for solar plants). Reimbursement is structured over an 18-month amortization period for the meters and progress-based payments for the solar plants, supervised by an approved control office.
